What can be used to age glass?

Does anyone have any idea what substances or items can be used to age glass items? I have been working on a piece of art and would really like for this piece to have an antique or vintage look??? Anyone???


Stained glass supply shops will have a sort of sandpaper which will rough up the glass a bit, and there are etching compounds for glass. Unfortunately, glass doesn't usually "age" unless exposed to the elements for some time.
