Q: I bought a lovely amber glass tray, it's semi circular shaped and has a lovely pattern on it with a sun rising in the corner and rays fanning out across the dish. The only marks are Ro No and numbers 788735 stamped on the glass. I'm just curious to know if it's old or just some kind of reproduction glassware. Does anyone know how I can find out. Can't find anything like it on ebay.
A: Yes it is.
The sunray design is typical of the period and is seen on compacts, windows and even garden gates.
Assuming this is English your tray was made between November 1929 and February 1935.

It will be pressed glass and would have been part of a dressing table set. In America similar stuff is depression glass.
Does anyone know where I can purchase the glass?
