A: Mirroring it would probably not work due to cutting and setting the mirrors. But you could paint it silver--there are some really nice true silver metallic paints out there; and you could do a broken mirror mosaic on the top--as long as there aren't any sharp edges. Or maybe a mother or pearl top.
