Q: As well as Salon Paris it says Artistes Francais
I cannot find any reference to Bronze Art Deco/Nouveau sculptures by Dussart. Is the name spelt wrong or are they an artist in another medium dabbling in sculpture?
Do you know of a Dussart artist in the period 1890 to 1920?
A: there is an artist by the name of gustave dussart. www.artprice.com lists him exclusively as a sculptor.
I own a female dancer figure made of cast bronze with a black marble base. She is striking a pose on a four layer pedestal wearing a skirt, top, and cap. The figure is signed Chicerow and I would like to know the real artist or some history or something. I don't know the title of the piece either...
