Q: i have these old windows, that i would like to paint murals or abstract art onto. what is the best paint to use for this? has anyone ever done this? any ideas on technique would also be appreciated.
A: old glass is often 'pitted'...little flaws in the glass..half bubbles....be aware of this as you clean the glass.
wipe it down with alcohol before you paint and wipe dry.
Pe'be'o (say "peebee-oh ) paint is made for glass - it comes in transparant and opaque colors - they also make glass markers...it will
airdry to a pretty steadfast finish or can be baked for a permanent finish -
you can use acrylics - but when held to the light it will not be pretty - good if the finished piece is to be hung on a wall
