A: Artists that are well known can charge anything they want. Size is not the issue by which price is determined. It's all in how good the work is, as compared to others in the similar genre. It also depends on how well the artist is known. An artist just starting out could perhaps set the price from their own estimate of what it would be worth to them to part with said work of art.
