for my 21st birthday my gradparents gave me a sum of money with which to buy myself a keepsake.
i really want to buy a piece of original art, but I dont really know where to start looking.
I like abstract and contemporary art, but am a little out of touch with the art world at the mo.

It's a lovely world-wide art website that sells prints online, and you can get powerful, meaningful, gorgeous, original work for very reasonable prices. You can even choose what you want it to be printed on, or, if you want the one from the artist, plenty of them will sell through email negotiations.
I'm looking to buy some wall art but can't find any decent websites. All the ones i've come accross just tend to sell either commercial looking tosh or generic pseudo-abstract canvases.
I'm particularly interested in contemporary photography ie. Sherman, Tillmans, Goldin etc.
