Q: I paint with acrylics. My grandmother has dealt with alot of hardships in her life, losing my mother at a young age she lost a daughter about 5 years her first son passed away also at a young age. I have an idea of making a collage with my families pictures with my acrylic paints by making prints but I would like it to be 3D by using one large canvas and attaching smaller canvases to it with...

If you are attaching canvas to just about any other material, like collage elements, you could use acrylic matte medium. It works really well as a collage medium. If you want to attach stretcher bars to each other, you might be able to find additional pieces of wood, and use wood screws to attach the pieces together. That might be the most secure, and may make any assemblage appear more cohesive.
